On August 31, 2023, the three-day InterSolar South America was concluded smoothly at the Northern Convention & Exhibition Center of Sao Paulo, the second largest city of Brazil. Talesun showed up in the event with three star efficient modules to highlight its charm to South America. The InterSolar South America is the largest and most popular solar energy technology exhibition in South America, which is focused on solar photovoltaic and thermal energy technologies. The event has attracted many internationally renowned PV enterprises devoted to promoting the renewable and clean energies and technologies, providing an important exchange platform for professionals of the global solar PV industry.

As the largest economy in America, Brazil is also the country with the largest installed PV power-generating capacity in the region. As one of the countries with the most abundant sunshine, under the driving of various incentive measures and active policies, Brazil’s PV market has developed robustly and has become the PV market with the highest potential in the Latin America, thanks to its high growing speed of PV installed capacity and booming demands.

As of the end of 2022, PV power generation had become the second largest source of power generated in Brazil, only second to hydraulic power. According to the “Ten-year Energy Expansion Plan” released by the EPE of the Brazil Energy Research Office, by 2030, the country’s total installed capacity will reach approximately 224.3GW. 50% of the increase in installed capacity will come from new energy power generation, of which PV will boast the highest and fastest growth.
